    Girls in Smart Tech (GIST) is one of the greatest programs in Lithuania for empowering young girls in technologies from secondary schools to universities. The Program is initiated by Smart Tech Academy (STA, www.smarttechacademy.eu/ ). Smart Tech Academy has partners in all Europe for one purpose – to make a growth of young girls joining technology sector and studies in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths) fields. STA Team kindly invites girls from all Lithuania to join to a new e-learning course called ‘Smart Business Technology’ .   • Summer Camps for LT Children Interested in Technology

    Rural Internet Access Points Association, a member of the Digital Skills and Coalition for Jobs in Lithuania, has been organising summer camps for children and teens (10-14) for the second year in a row. 100 active kids took part in the camp activities in a lovely out of town place Kurtuvėnai, Šiauliai district. The camp’s programme includes teamwork and collaboration, discovering Lithuanian nature and understanding technology. The camp is designed to spark curiosity and build confidence in tech.   • Creative workshop of project “IT in primary education”

    Huge attention is paid to digital literacy of pupils in primary schools in Lithuania. The whole week attendees from 10 selected schools were working in creative workshop “IT in primary education”. Various training tools were introduced, and teachers had opportunity to use them creating interesting lesson scenarios. More information (in Lithuanian)
